Small and personal bookings

Big splendiferous occasions like large weddings, corporate events etc are a lot of fun to shoot but at the other end of the scale there are very small, personal parties and weddings that demand a very different mind set to photograph. Recently I've had the privilege to do a couple of such events. One, in my guise of york wedding photographer who totes loves lesbians, was the wedding of Sally and Cara. Two brides, 2 guests and me for a few hours of wandering the streets, taking photographs and the occasional drinkie. Bloody wonderful.

The other occasion, in my guise of york private party photographer who may steal your champagne and/or canapes was the private dinner party to celebrate a grandmothers birthday, in the family home in Masham. 9 people eating a frankly amazing meal around their dinner table, and me quietly sat in the background. With grandma, constantly making sure I'd tried the french toast, tested the fizz, sampled the lobster etc I can firmly say Iv never been to a better dinner party.

To ice the cake, the charming young lady who booked me (Amy Carr), is a very talented artist who painted me a bloody gorgeous painting as a thank-you, and her boyfriend's family restaurant in Ripon (Lockwoods) is not to be missed if your passing that way. Pics below.

I guess my point is: if you are having a small gathering and want some lush images to treasure, Id be delighted to hear from you.
